“If we want things to stay as they are, things will have to change.”

~ Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa

The Leopard

Because of the aggressive changes thrust upon the area, the Town of Sheridan and Adams Township courageously stepped forward to explore Reorganizing [consolidating] into a “new” town. Conrad Consulting is proud to assist with leading these efforts as outlined by Indiana Code 36-1.5-4.

We assisted the Town of Sheridan in launching a Facade Improvement Program to preserve the unique downtown storefronts. With our experience and support, we helped implement the program to revitalize and sustain the heartbeat of the downtown. A facade improvement program brings together local business owners and the government by pooling financial resources to preserve the unique downtown facades.

Creating new pathways in a familiar place.

Trails are integral to the placemaking of a community and economic growth opportunities. Over the past several years, I’ve helped my hometown (my client) lean into its renaissance. The sign in the foreground will soon be needed no more in its present location because, together with the client, we identified ways to complete the Monon Trail. Once completed, the trail will connect the Town of Sheridan to downtown Indianapolis.
